A small side dish with fleur instead of the traditional boiled or steamed veg. This dish goes well with steak or any other warm hearty main dish.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized carrots
  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Steps

  1. Wash and roughly peel the carrots
  2. Split the carrots in half and slice them into even sizes
  3. Boil the carrot slices
  4. Fry the bacon and add the finely chopped garlic
  5. When the bacon and garlic are nearly done, add the carrots mix well. Fry for another couple of minutes

A Tiramisu is always nice.
